Book of Mormon Reading Chart
After taking a very long hiatus due to pretty wretched morning sickness (oh yeah, I'm having ANOTHER boy - I had been wondering what to do about the title of this blog if I had a girl...), I am here once again to bring you something useful: A Book of Mormon reading chart. In my ward, a goal has been set for us all to do more daily scripture reading. So, in the Primary, we are encouraging the kids to join in and a fun chart is always helpful, I find. I searched the web and pinterest and didn't really find a reading chart I liked, so I decided to make one. How hard could it be? It actually went much quicker than I anticipated. Did you know there are 239 chapters in the Book of Mormon? With a goal to finish before the year is over, that seems fairly doable to me.

This is really cute! I just wanted to mention that it is missing Mormon. Or maybe I am blind. Awesome chart, though! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteActually, you are looking for Words of Mormon and it is there "I" of "Scripture"
DeleteI just handed this out to my Primary two days ago, and yes, one boy noticed that Mormon was missing. He's probably the only one who will even get to that point, so I just told him he could figure it out! Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteIt's also missing a couple chapters of second nephi.
ReplyDeleteThis is such a great chart! Thank you! I fixed the missing chapters from 2 Nephi and added in Mormon. If anyone would like a copy, feel free to email me at jillbeck10 at gmail.com.
ReplyDeleteJill do you still have a copy of the revised reading chart?
DeleteThank you so much!! For anyone else reading this, the chart is correct. All Books and chapters accounted for.
ReplyDeleteThanks Heidi for letting us know!
